What if God had a bigger plan for our salvation than we knew? What if it weren't only about changing us or our eternal state? What if God meant for our salvation to be a tool that changes the world? In the opening section of his letter to the church at Thessalonica, Paul affirms the people for their salvation, and express his thankfulness to God for their example of faith, hope, love and joy that is changing the world.
